UHF RFID Antenna & Tag Simulation (HFSS / COMSOL) – Freelancer Needed
We are looking for an experienced freelancer to support an R&D project focusing on UHF RFID (860–960 MHz) systems, specifically electromagnetic simulation and performance analysis.
Scope of Work
Perform electromagnetic simulations using ANSYS HFSS or COMSOL RF Module
Analyze:
UHF RFID tag and reader antenna behavior
Antenna–tag interaction
Impedance matching between chip and antenna
Backscatter characteristics
Read range performance
Model different environmental scenarios:
Metal proximity effects
Shelves / walls / surrounding materials
Tag orientation and polarization
Conduct parametric studies and document results
Expected Deliverables
Simulation files (HFSS or COMSOL)
S-parameters, impedance plots, and field distributions
Read range and performance evaluation results
Short technical report (PDF / Word)
Required Qualifications
Hands-on experience with HFSS and/or COMSOL RF Module
Knowledge of UHF RFID systems and antenna design
Familiarity with backscatter communication and link budget analysis
Experience in academic or industrial R&D projects is a plus
