Rectangular 8 GHz Patch Antenna Design

Job ID: 39957552

Budget: $5,000 – $10,000 AUD

I need a complete design package for a 20 element rectangular microstrip patch antenna tuned to 8 GHz. Please take the project from initial concept through to a fabrication-ready file set and a brief validation plan. The array type is indicated in the attached figures. The images show a corporate-fed linear patch array that uses a series–corporate hybrid feed network — essentially a stepped T-junction microstrip corporate feed printed on a single substrate.

Scope and expectations
• Electromagnetic modelling – run and share simulations (HFSS, CST, ADS or equivalent) demonstrating S-parameters, gain, radiation pattern and bandwidth around 8 GHz.
• Optimised layout – provide the final PCB outline, substrate stack-up, via pattern and ground plane details that achieve the simulated performance.
• Manufacturing outputs – supply Gerber files, drill map, pick-and-place file and a concise bill of materials with substrate specs.
• Documentation – include a short design report explaining key equations, tuning strategy and the link between simulation and the physical layout.
• Validation guidance – outline a practical test set-up (fixtures, instruments, calibration steps) so I can verify return loss, VSWR and radiation pattern after fabrication.

I value clear communication, well-commented project files and the ability to iterate quickly if small tweaks are required once preliminary sims are reviewed.
