2.4 GHz PCB Antenna Optimization

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I already have a near-final ground-plane PCB that hosts the Taoglas WLP.2450.25.4.A.02 antenna for an indoor product. The mechanical envelope is locked; what remains is the RF work. I need someone who can walk in with a calibrated Vector Network Analyzer, probe the antenna while it sits inside the actual enclosure, and turn the rough layout into a repeatable, production-ready design.

Here is what has to happen:

• Design the π-style matching network and select real-world component values.
• Tune and retune on the bench until the antenna shows ≤ –10 dB S11 and solid bandwidth across 2.4–2.5 GHz inside the unit.
• Document every step with before/after .s1p traces, a concise report of the tuning iterations, and the final schematic, BOM, and updated PCB file.

I will supply the current Altium project, enclosure, and test samples. You bring the RF expertise, your own VNA, and the hands-on experience to squeeze the last dB out of this antenna. If you lack the tools or haven’t tuned antennas in-situ before, this job isn’t a fit.
