VAWT Design and Feasibility Analysis
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am seeking an experienced engineer to conduct a design and feasibility analysis of a vertical axis wind turbine (VAWT) . The project involves creating a suitable VAWT configuration using CFD modeling in Ansys-Fluent. The goal is to determine the optimal blade shape, turbine sizing, and number of blades to efficiently meet our energy needs.
Key Requirements:
- Design a VAWT configuration with a maximum diameter of 25m.
- Perform CFD modeling using Ansys-Fluent to analyze turbine performance.
- Evaluate different blade shapes and determine the optimal number of blades.
- Calculate the number of turbines needed to generate 955MWh annually.
- Provide a detailed report on findings and recommendations.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Strong background in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
- Proficiency in CFD modeling, particularly with Ansys-Fluent.
- Experience in wind turbine design and renewable energy systems.
- Ability to analyze and interpret wind speed data for optimal turbine placement.
- Excellent report writing skills to present findings and recommendations.
