Developing a Mechanical APDL code to change the stiffness and damping of a longitudinal spring in ANSYS.

I have a Reinforced concrete structure which is already modeled in ANSYS. I am using a longitudinal spring as a damper in the structure for which I want to apply an APDL code which should enable the spring to change its damping and stiffness based on the displacement response at a given location. Additionally the loading is earthquake which means the the spring should be able to change its properties at each time step according to response displacements.
