Ansys Fluent CO Modelling Tutor

Job ID: 39921633

Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR

Description:

I’m looking for an experienced CFD engineer or tutor who can teach me how to perform CO (Carbon Monoxide) dispersion modelling in car parks using Ansys Fluent. The goal is to understand the complete workflow involved in setting up and running a validated simulation suitable for engineering reports and authority submissions (e.g., for smoke and ventilation design verification).

Scope of Tutoring:

The sessions should cover:

Setting up the geometry and meshing (with car park layouts, inlets, outlets, and jet fans)

Species transport and CO concentration modelling fundamentals

Defining boundary conditions (fresh air inlets, exhaust outlets, jet fans, vehicle emissions)

Setting CO source terms and transient or steady-state setups

Understanding multi-species flow (air, CO, CO₂, etc.) and typical simplifications used

Post-processing and interpreting results: CO concentration contours, velocity vectors, and compliance with standards (e.g., AS/NZS 1668, NFPA 92, Australian guidelines)

Tips for model validation, result presentation, and practical CFD troubleshooting

Requirements:

Strong experience in Ansys Fluent, particularly with ventilation or pollutant dispersion modelling

Prior experience with car park CO or smoke modelling is highly preferred

Good teaching ability — able to explain step-by-step, including theoretical background and practical setup

Familiarity with standards like AS/NZS 1668, NFPA 92, or similar is a plus

Preferred Format:

Online tutoring sessions (via Zoom or similar)

2–3 sessions per week, flexible timing

Each session around 1–2 hours, with screen-sharing and practical demonstrations
