ANSYS RF Probe Design for NMR – Dual Frequency (2MHz & 20MHz) – Simulation + CAD – 3-Day Deadline
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
ANSYS RF Probe Design for NMR – Dual Frequency (2MHz & 20MHz) – Simulation + CAD – 3-Day Deadline
We are urgently looking for an experienced RF/magnetic resonance engineer to help design and simulate **two NMR probe heads**, operating at **2MHz and 20MHz** respectively.
This project is ONLY for **probe head hardware modeling and simulation**. The client will handle **physical implementation and testing offline**, so **no control system, circuit design, or PCB layout is needed**.
---
**Scope of Work**:
1. Design and simulate two separate probe heads at 2MHz and 20MHz.
2. Each probe structure must **embed a 1cm diameter glass tube** (for the sample).
3. Perform electromagnetic simulation using **ANSYS (preferred)**, or CST/HFSS if equivalent.
4. Simulate and extract **S11 response**, **E-field distribution**, and confirm magnetic uniformity.
5. Provide CAD design files (.STEP or .IGES) for both probes.
6. Include a clear **technical report/PDF** with design structure, frequency performance, screenshots of simulation setup and results.
7. Reference images (oscilloscope, RF signal generator, coil testing layout) are included for clarity.
---
**Deliverables**:
- 2x CAD files for 2MHz and 20MHz probe head
- ANSYS or equivalent EM simulation project files
- S11 response plots and field visuals
- 1x PDF technical summary with design explanation and simulation overview
---
**Tools**:
- Preferably **ANSYS HFSS**
- CST Studio Suite or COMSOL Multiphysics acceptable if you confirm it can deliver identical EM results
---
**Deadline**:
- Must be fully completed and delivered within **3 days**
- Progress update or preview screenshot required on Day 2
---
**Additional Details** (from client):
- Focus on compact probe design. Smaller is better while ensuring field uniformity.
- Antenna is not restricted in shape but should allow tuning if necessary.
- Magnetic core structure must be stable and evenly distributed.
- Glass tube should fit entirely inside the coil (≥ 1cm diameter).
---
include:
hand-drawn schematic
structure flowchart
oscilloscope + signal generator test image
client conversation with full specs
Please confirm your experience in EM/RF probe modeling before bidding. Priority given to fast and technically clear freelancers.
