I already laid the foundation for a social-networking app that runs exclusively on Android, but progress has slowed and key pieces are still missing. The project lives in Android Studio; core navigation and a basic Firebase back end are in place, yet several screens and features remain only half-done.
I need an Android developer who can dive into the existing Kotlin/Java codebase, tidy up what’s there, then complete the remaining work—everything from polishing UI flows to wiring social features such as real-time interactions, notifications, and smooth profile management. Solid knowledge of modern Android SDK components, Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Messaging), and typical social UX patterns will let you move quickly without starting over.
Deliverables I’d like to see are:
• Updated, well-commented source code that builds without errors
• A release-ready APK/AAB signed with the provided keystore
• A short hand-off document summarising the changes and how to run the project locally
