Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization Setup
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
I need to stand up a production-grade Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization cluster in our on-prem data-centre as soon as possible. The work begins with high-level design and ends only when the platform is fully installed, configured, documented, and accepted by my operations team.
Key elements of the engagement
• Architecture & sizing aligned with best-practice and our existing server estate.
• Automated installation using Ansible, with playbooks handed over and fully commented.
• Registration and lifecycle management through Red Hat Satellite so patching remains simple.
• Core services—DNS, NTP and Syslog—either freshly deployed or cleanly integrated with the current equivalents so all nodes resolve, time-sync and forward logs without error.
• Validation testing that proves live migration, HA, networking and storage all behave as expected in a production environment.
Acceptance criteria
1. Detailed design document and Visio/PDF diagram approved by me before build begins.
2. Ansible playbooks run end-to-end on a clean environment without manual intervention.
3. oc get nodes reports all hosts Ready, virtualization operators all Healthy.
4. DNS look-ups, chronyc sources and rsyslog flows verified from every node.
5. A knowledge-transfer session (recorded) plus run-book covering day-2 ops.
