YouTube Travel Vlog Video Editor for Channel 150k+ Subs
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Hello! It’s Justin & Alina here.
Please apply with specific travel vlog/ lifestyle vlog you edited in the past.
We are looking for a long term editor for to edit travel vlogs for our YouTube travel channel with over 150 000 subscribers. Around 3-4 videos per month. Our style of vlog tends to story-driven, personal and fast paced. I’d like an editor who can help me keep that momentum going.
Our episode tends to be 25-40 minutes long, editor needs to be able to handle 3-4 hours worth of raw footage and turn it into an episode that be informative, with a story, rather than a generic travel guide, so your timing, sense of narrative, the ability to trim our boring beats as you see fit is crucial. Also a sense of music for each scenes to keep the video fast paced and dynamic. We are also not raw vloggers.
Here’s what I need on every video:
• A storytelling edit that keeps the pacing energetic while keeping it personal
• Animations and effects to keep the vlog engaging rather than distract.
• Map animations and infographics to clarify routes, costs, or fun facts when relevant.
• On-screen text or lower-thirds for key locations, names, price tags and quick tips.
• Carefully chosen background music, plus voice-over narration and spot sound effects, all mixed to broadcast-ready levels.
I usually deliver raw footage (4K60) shot on iphone, drone footage. You’d return a fully edited vlog
