I’m producing a series of documentary-style videos for YouTube and need a skilled post-editor who feels completely at home in Premiere Pro and Da Vinci Resolve. Each episode comes with a detailed script that already calls out the visuals, so the job is to translate those cues into an engaging final cut that keeps viewers watching.
Here’s what the workflow looks like:
• Edit the core narrative in Premiere Pro, building strong hooks, tight pacing and clear chapter markers for audience retention.
• Create supporting motion graphics in After Effects—mainly animated maps, clean text overlays and occasional simple animations—then round-trip them back into the timeline.
• Drop in archival footage, balance it with the primary footage and give everything a cohesive grade.
• Mix voice-over, music and spot SFX so the track feels polished and broadcast-ready.
The final deliverable is a fully mastered video ready for upload, along with any project files needed for future revisions.
