Unreal 4 UI Orientation Fix
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a single widget in my Unreal Engine 4.23 project tweaked so it looks and behaves correctly in both 16:9 landscape and 9:16 portrait. The current layout works in landscape, but when the device rotates the background stretches badly and some buttons drift out of place.
Here’s exactly what I’m after:
• Keep the existing vertically-scrolling background (it moves upward). No parallax, blur, or other effects—just the simple loop already coded.
• Re-arrange or mask that background so it fills the screen cleanly in both orientations, still scrolling upward in portrait and landscape. I’ll be re-using the assets already in the project; nothing new needs to be designed.
• Double-check every interactive button on that screen after the background work. Most anchors are set, but I want to be sure they stay responsive and visually centered in both aspect ratios.
I’ll send the full project so you can test both orientations properly.
