Triptych of Transformational Short Videos
Budget: $10 – $30 CAD
This project explores the theme of transformation through a series of three short videos, each depicting unique movement between a set of shapes. Each video focuses on a distinct approach, creating a visual triptych that showcases diverse methods of transformation:
Basic Interpolation: The first video presents a smooth, continuous transition between shapes. The movement is steady and fluid, emphasizing the mechanics of gradual shape change.
Color-Driven Changes: The second video highlights color as a primary driver of transformation. Starting with one color, the shapes transition through various hues as they morph, bringing attention to the interplay between color shifts and shape movement.
Perspective Shift or Depth Illusion: The third video explores movement through changes in scale and perspective, creating a depth illusion. Shapes appear to move closer or farther from the viewer, offering a dynamic and spatial experience.
Together, these videos demonstrate varied approaches to visual transformation, each with its unique style and focus. The project invites viewers to experience movement in multiple ways, using shape, color, and perspective to engage the senses and highlight the possibilities of transformation.
The videos will be presented in silence to focus solely on the visual elements. The videos should have a minimalist aesthetic. Each video should be 10 seconds long.
