Traditional Hand-Drawn 2D Animation

Job ID: 39566334

Budget: £750 – £1,500 GBP

Comic-Style Animator Wanted for Ambitious WW2 YouTube Channel (UK/Ireland Preferred)

About the Project:
I’m a scriptwriter and creator developing a historically driven YouTube series that brings true wartime stories to life through graphic novel-style animation. Think: a fusion of documentary realism and comic book intensity. It’s a premium storytelling project aimed at emotionally connecting with global audiences and scaling into a major historical brand.
The Vision:
This isn’t a quick cash project, it’s a long-term creative business with the potential to reach millions. The storytelling, tone, and structure are inspired by the success of top channels like Yarnhub, Simple History, and The Front, with a fresh creative spin.

Looking For:
A passionate, UK- or Ireland-based animator/illustrator who:
• Loves history, especially WW2
• Can animate in a semi-realistic, comic/graphic-novel style
• Wants to be part of something long-term and high impact
• Can handle videos 10–12 minutes long, based on true historical scripts and veteran testimonies

Budget Transparency:
I’ll be honest, I don’t have a large budget right now.
But I do have a clear plan, viral-ready content, and a channel with serious long-term potential.
I believe this will be a six- or seven-figure brand, and I want to build it with someone who sees the same future.
That said, I’m still committed to paying fairly for quality work, even if modest for now.
Please share your rate per minute or quote for a 10–12 minute video and let’s talk about how we can scale this together.

To Apply, Please Include:
1. Samples of your work (especially comic/animated or history content)
2. Your rates or pricing model
3. A few lines about why this project interests you
4. Your location (UK/Ireland strongly preferred)
5. Whether you’re open to growing long-term with the project

Reference Style:
I’ve included a visual reference to help guide the tone/style I’m aiming for. Semi-realistic, gritty, emotionally expressive comic-style frames.
