I usually hire Freelancers designers directly & manage the freelancers work myself.
But I am very busy & need to find someone that has a VERY GOOD eye for design.
You don't have to be a designer yourself.
But you do need to be able to instruct a amateur designer how to make good professional & attractive designs.
If something looks bad or okay, but could look better. Explain it to them.
