Restaurant Digital Menu Screen Setup
Budget: $25 – $50 AUD
I need three in-store screens at my quick-service restaurant to run like a coordinated digital menu board. Each screen will pull from the same library of static images, short videos and promotional text, but the layout must be flexible:
• Primary layout: a split-screen zone showing food shots in one area, pricing or promos in another, and space for an occasional looping video.
• Optional layouts: full-screen takeovers for limited-time offers and simple overlays when I just want text on top of imagery.
Content should advance every minute so guests always see something fresh while waiting. Once the media players are configured I want an easy way to drop new files into a folder or online CMS and have them appear automatically with the right timing and aspect ratio. Please set clear parameters for:
1. File naming or playlist rules that decide where each asset shows up.
2. Screen-by-screen scheduling so I can run different specials at breakfast, lunch and dinner later on.
3. Recommended resolutions, codecs and any compression settings that keep playback smooth.
4. A quick reference sheet so staff can update content without calling you every time.
