Responsive Portfolio Site Build
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I want a fully responsive personal-portfolio website built with plain HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, each in its own file. The landing “Home” section should greet visitors with a smooth fade-in/fade-out animation to create an immediate, lively impression. From there, the flow moves through an “About Me” intro, a visually engaging “Projects” gallery, and finishes with a working “Contact” form.
Design direction
• Colour palette: vibrant and colourful rather than muted or minimalist.
• Overall look: modern, clean, uncluttered, easy to navigate, with typography that scales well on mobile.
Functionality
• Mobile-first responsiveness—flexible grids, media queries, and touch-friendly navigation.
• Contact form must validate input in the browser and include an Instagram icon/link; adding other platforms later should remain straightforward.
• All animations and interactive elements done in vanilla JS (no frameworks).
Deliverables
1. index.html, style.css, script.js (no inline CSS/JS).
2. At least one reusable component for project cards.
3. Documentation in comments explaining key sections and how to swap colours or add projects.
4. A brief readme describing folder structure and how to deploy on standard shared hosting.
I’ll consider the job complete once the site loads error-free in the latest Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and a current mobile emulator, and Lighthouse scores confirm mobile friendliness.
