3D Render & Animation of Aluminium Structures
Budget: $150 – $200 AUD
Job Title
3D Render & Assembly Animation – Aluminium Structural Connection System
Job Description
Spanmor is an Australian supplier of aluminium structural systems used in decking subfloors, pergolas, and outdoor structures.
We have engineering drawings showing our connection details, and we require these to be transformed into clean 3D renders and simple assembly animations that help customers visually understand how the system installs.
These animations are not engineering demonstrations. The purpose is to create clear, easy-to-understand visual assembly guides that show how Spanmor components connect during installation.
Engineering drawings, previous renders, and a compiled file containing all required components have been attached for reference. The component file should be used to ensure the correct parts are used in each animation.
The final visuals will be used on our website and product pages.
Animation Style
Animations should be:
Clean and minimal
Sleek and professional
Slow and smooth assembly movements
Neutral background with product-focused lighting
Easy to understand for builders and customers
No unnecessary engineering detail shown
Animations should run slowly and clearly so we have space to add our own descriptions and annotations later.
Each animation should be approximately 5–10 seconds.
Project Scope
Post to Concrete Connections
Create animations showing the installation of the following posts:
Flanged Post on Concrete
115 × 115mm flanged post mounted on concrete
Posts Into Concrete
90 × 90mm post into concrete
115 × 115mm post into concrete
150 × 150mm post into concrete
Straight Posts on Concrete
90 × 90mm post on concrete
115 × 115mm post on concrete
150 × 150mm post on concrete
For all posts installed on top of concrete, the animation must show:
The internal post bracket fixed into the concrete first
The post sliding over the bracket
The side fixings securing the post to the bracket
Post to Beam Connections
Create animations showing post to beam connections.
Post sizes:
90 × 90mm
115 × 115mm
150 × 150mm
Beam sections:
105 × 50mm
170 × 50mm
235 × 50mm
Example connection animation:
115 × 115mm post paired with 170 × 50mm beam
The animation should show the beam locating and fixing onto the post.
Post Pier Connection
Create an animation showing:
115 × 115mm post pier connection
Post connecting into the bearer bracket
Subfloor System Connections
Joist Over Bearer Connection (Triple Grip)
Create an animation showing:
Bearer beam installed
Joist beam running over the top of the bearer
Triple Grip connector fixing the joist to the bearer
This animation should be shown using the Spanmor beam sections:
40 × 50mm
105 × 50mm
170 × 50mm
235 × 50mm
Standard Joist Hanger Connection
Create an animation showing:
Beam installed
Standard aluminium joist hanger fixed to the beam
Joist locating into the hanger
Wall Plate Joist Connection
Create animations showing joists fixing to a wall plate.
Two scenarios are required:
Joists spanning less than 3m
Wall plate fixed to wall
Joists connecting to the wall plate
Joists spanning more than 3m
Wall plate fixed to wall
Joists connecting to wall plate
Additional fixing method shown
Deliverables
High-quality 3D rendered models
Assembly animations (5–10 seconds each)
Web-ready MP4 or similar format
Clean neutral presentation suitable for website use
Important Notes
These animations are for customer visualisation and product understanding, not detailed engineering demonstration.
The goal is to produce clean, professional, and visually clear animations that help customers quickly understand how Spanmor components connect during installation.
