Realistic FPS Reload Animations
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am polishing Dawn of Horror (Steam page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4550280/Dawn_of_Horror) and need five first-person reload animations that look and feel as grounded as the work shown in Road to Vostok (https://store.steampowered.com/app/1963610/Road_to_Vostok).
Scope
• Weapons involved are a mix of pistol and rifle models; each model is already rigged as a single mesh that includes the left arm.
• I only need the left-handed reload motion—no separate character body, no extra props.
• Style must be strictly realistic: believable timing, natural weight shifts, and authentic manipulation of the firearm’s parts (magazine, bolt, slide, etc.).
• Total of 5 distinct reloads, one per weapon.
Workflow & Delivery
1. You import my supplied FBX files (weapon+arm) into your DCC of choice (Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, etc.).
2. Create clean, non-overlapping keyframe animation at 60 fps.
3. Return the finished FBX files, trimmed to the exact frames of the reload, with pivots untouched so they drop straight into my Godot in 1 File gbl with the animation all in 1 scene.
4. Include a short capture (mp4 or gif) of each reload for quick review.
Acceptance checks
• No mesh penetration or clipping through itself.
• Magazine or bolt lines up perfectly with sockets throughout the motion.
• Animation plays smoothly in first-person view with no visible pops at start or end.
• Final frame leaves the weapon ready for firing.
When you reply, please give your price per animation and a link to at least one realistic firearm reload you’ve produced before. Feel free to point out any additional data you need from me (reference videos, weapon specs, hand poses, etc.). I’m ready to begin as soon as we agree on the per-animation rate and milestone schedule.
