Layer Isolation and in-painting work
Budget: $250 – $750 CAD
I am looking for a skilled freelancer to assist me with layer isolation and in-painting work for my animated video project.
Requirement:
Cut out and Isolate objects in an image
Separate each object into its own layer in the photoshop file
Paint in the background behind those isolated objects so if you were to hide the foreground layer, the background layer would be visually complete.
Additional Instructions:
The layers will be separated in animation software in 3d depth. A virtual camera will move past or through these layers. As the camera moves, areas that are cut out of the original image would show holes, which is why we need to paint in those patches.
Use the instruction page to identify what objects on the page need to be isolated. Colored outline indicates an object that has to be separated to its own layer
Semi-transparent highlighted areas in the instructions sheet show how much has to be painted into the layer behind it. The paint areas are color coded to the layer that needs the paint work applied.

Currently we have 21 images like this. Cutouts are done for half. Inpainting has not been completed on any of them so far.
Specific requirements for the project include:
- Working with PSD files
- Isolating layers and performing in-painting work on the images provided
- Restoring damaged images and ensuring high-quality output
Ideal skills and experience for this job include:
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and other relevant software
- Experience in image editing and manipulation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality results
