High-Quality Audiovisual Adaptation of "Recapitulation – A Journey"
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 CAD
I need a 50 - 60 minute high-quality audiovisual adaptation of "Recapitulation – A Journey" a book with 56 images painted by Sveva Caetani, utilizing 2D animation, some sound effects and a classical orchestration soundtrack. I can provide the narration which can be used as a guide to produce the film.
Key Requirements:
- Transform 56-piece visual narrative and text into a narrated, illustrated with some 2D animation of characters or elements in the paintings (probably no more than 5-10 minutes in total) and musically scored experience.
- Suitable for exhibition in museums, galleries, schools, and small theatres in Canada and internationally.
Ideal skills and experience include:
- Expertise in animation
- Strong narrative storytelling abilities
- Experience in creating immersive musical scores, particularly classical orchestration
- Retaining the integrity of the original artwork, so that there is at least 5 seconds showing each painting in its entirety.
- Sound effects - like water or birds echoes
- Portfolio showcasing similar artistic and technical projects
Deliverables:
- Complete 60-minute audiovisual adaptation
- High production value suitable for professional exhibition
The project intends to celebrate human resilience, imagination, and artistic legacy, introducing new audiences to a unique Canadian story.
