HTML5 Slot Machine Development

Job ID: 40074723

Budget: $25 – $50 USD

Looking for a senior engineer with both technical and have the design ability to create browser-ready slot machines built with clean HTML5 and JavaScript (https://www.pragmaticplay.com/en/#)—no Unity, no bulky frameworks—so it loads fast and runs smoothly on desktop and mobile. I will supply the artwork and audio; you wire up the reels, pay-table logic, sound triggers, and a lightweight balance system that my back-end team can later connect to an API. An adjustable spin speed (to let the game feel deliberately “slow” when required) and an external JSON file for RTP, pay-lines, and symbol weights are essential. The code must be modular, thoroughly commented, and bundled through a standard Node / npm workflow; feel free to lean on PixiJS or GSAP if that keeps the canvas animations buttery.

Deliverables
• One responsive slot machine playable in any modern browser
• ES6 source code with build instructions and a brief README
• External config files for math, odds, and spin timing
• A live demo link for testing

Acceptance criteria
– Original, readable code (no third-party casino engines)
– Consistent 60 FPS on Chrome Mobile and Safari iOS
– Lighthouse performance score ≥ 85 on mobile

If you’ve shipped similar HTML5 slots before, point me to them and tell me how you handled reel math and animation timing. I’m ready to start as soon as I see a solid plan and a concise timeline.
