Glyco App: Character, Animation & UI/UX Design
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
Character Design, Animation & UI/UX for Glyco Diabetes Management App
We are looking for a talented character designer/illustrator to create original, engaging characters for our diabetes management app, Glyco. These characters will be used on the home page of the app and later in animated videos to help children and teenagers understand and manage diabetes in a fun and interactive way.
What We Need:
Maya (Main Character) – A relatable and expressive young girl who shares her diabetes journey.
Two Additional Characters:
A fantasy character to add a playful element.
A supportive companion (friend, sibling, or pet) to assist Maya on her journey.
Emotional Expressions:
Each character should have multiple expressions to show happiness, sadness, dizziness (low blood sugar), and frustration.
The emotions should be visually clear and engaging.
Animations Needed (For Home Page of the App):
Taking insulin – Maya or another character should demonstrate how to take insulin in a way that is friendly and easy to understand for kids.
Eating a snack when blood sugar is low – A short, engaging animation to show a correct response to hypoglycemia.
Other small interactive animations – Simple movements like waving, reacting to blood sugar readings, or giving encouraging gestures.
UI/UX Design for Home Page:
Since these animations will be part of the home page of the app, we need a designer who can also create a visually appealing and user-friendly UI/UX design that integrates the characters seamlessly.
Bonus (If Available):
If you or your team can also handle branding and visual identity design, that would be excellent!
Additional Information:
We are open to creative recommendations and unique design ideas from the artist.
Please share your portfolio, any experience with similar projects, and your pricing estimate.
If we move forward, more details will be shared.
Looking forward to working with a passionate and skilled designer/team who can bring these characters to life!
