Game Character Emote Animations
Budget: $30 – $250 SGD
I already have the character ready—an FBX file with a clean, named armature—so your focus can be entirely on bringing it to life. The project is for a video game and I need 2 short, loop-friendly emotes:
• A playful head-tapping gesture
• A full baseball-bat swing that resets neatly to idle
I’m after a realistic feel, yet there’s room for a touch of artistic or cartoony flair if it helps the actions read crisply on screen.
Technical expectations
• Work directly on the supplied skeleton, If needed can add extra bones
• Keep key counts efficient for real-time playback.
• Each clip should start and end in the bind pose (or a consistent reference pose) so I can blend states inside Unity without foot sliding.
• Deliver the finished takes baked onto the rig in one FBX, plus the editable source file from Blender
• Root motion only where it makes sense; otherwise keep the root stationary.
Acceptance criteria
I will import the FBX into Unity, switch the rig to Humanoid, and verify that loops are seamless, there’s no popping or stray keyframes, and the actions feel natural at game speed.
If you’ve produced similar in-game emotes before, a quick reel or GIF will help me lock this in quickly. Looking forward to seeing your motion skills in action!
