Fireplace Animation -- 3
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
The asset needed is a 2.5 minute or 3,600 frames at 24 fps animation of a fireplace. The use of this asset is for a live stage production. A 72" TV will be built into a fireplace set and the TV part will be the inside of the fireplace only. This will allow for a dynamic looking set piece on stage. The reason it needs to be custom built versus using footage of a practical fireplace is because we need it to animate in specific ways with specific timing.
The design will be the interior of a red brick fireplace. Ash and firewood is piled on the floor. The camera angle is straight on, completely locked down for the whole animation. The fire characteristics will be animated accordingly.
The animation will be broken down into 7 sections each one leading into the next.
Section 1 (600 frames): a healthy beautiful fire with a natural fire color.
Section 2 (1008 frames): A SLOW transition from section 1 to section 3.
Section 3 (600 frames): The flames have diminished into a soft glow of the ashes. The aesthetics is of a dying fire with a natural color.
Section 4 (96 frames): The flames erupt into an explosive energy twirling and spiraling. The natural flames turn into an unnatural synthetic blue.
Section 5 (600 frames): aesthetically this section looks identical to section 3. The color retains the unnatural synthetic blue.
Section 6 (96 frames): A transition from section 5 to section 7.
Section 7 (600 frames): aesthetically this section looks identical to section 1. The color retains the unnatural synthetic blue.
