Creative Landing Page for Compote Ice Cream

One-Page Website for Compote Ice Cream – Mailchimp Signup, Brand Styling, and Animation
Overview:

I’m looking for a skilled front-end web designer/developer to create a single, responsive landing page for my ice cream brand Compote (compote.com). The page will serve as a “coming soon” site with an email signup form integrated with Mailchimp, styled exactly to match our distinctive black sharpie, single-line illustration brand aesthetic.

Key Requirements:

Mailchimp Integration

A centralised email input field (desktop & mobile friendly) where visitors can register for updates.

On form submission, the cone from the Compote logo should animate with a smooth spin.

Email submissions should be connected to our Mailchimp list (registration should result in delivering email confirming subscription in compote branded style.....rolling hills and brand identity etc)

Design & Aesthetic

The style must match our brand identity: single-line illustrations, black sharpie style, clean white background, minimal colour.

All typography should be clear and legible but look hand-drawn, not like a standard font.
Assets (logo, branded ice cream pots, van, etc.) will be provided. You may need to clean up these illustrations for web display while keeping them authentic.

Animation Elements

The ice cream van should move slowly across the screen in a natural, purposeful way — perhaps travelling over gently rolling hills (drawn in the same style), not in a straight line.
No exhaust (it’s an electric vehicle).

Smooth, subtle looping animation without distracting from the signup form.

Copy & Layout

Beneath the email box, display playful, on-brand text such as:
“Bung your email here to receive in-frequent deliciousness delivered direct to your inbox”
(I’m open to shorter, punchier alternatives that fit the tone.)
The rest of the page should incorporate flavour illustrations and brand elements in a way that feels balanced and responsive.

Technical & Performance

Must be fully responsive and optimised for all devices and screen sizes.
Clean, semantic HTML/CSS/JS.
Page should load quickly, even with images.
No unnecessary external dependencies unless discussed.

Deliverables:

One-page website as HTML/CSS/JS (or a lightweight framework if you think it’s appropriate).
All animations and interactions working as described.
Final code and asset files ready to deploy.

Assets Provided:

Compote logo (with cone illustration).
Branded ice cream pot illustrations for multiple flavours.
Branded ice cream van illustration.

All branded assets are for design style, you will need to further finesse to ensure they are compatible with the website design/aesthetic.

You Will Provide:

Any cleaned-up or optimised versions of assets for web.
All code, styling, and animations.
Suggestions for improving text, animations, and interactions while keeping brand consistency.
Ideal Freelancer:
Strong experience with responsive web design.
Skilled in CSS animations / SVG animations.
Comfortable integrating with Mailchimp forms.
Has an eye for illustration-based design and can respect an established brand style.
