Job Title: 2D Animator Required for Monthly YouTube Kids Video Series (Remote / Long-Term Project)
Project Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and creative 2D Animator to create engaging, colorful, and age-appropriate animated videos for children aged 4 and above. This will be an ongoing project with a monthly requirement of 20 videos, each around 5 minutes in length.
The videos will be uploaded to a dedicated YouTube channel focused on educational and entertaining content for kids. We’re looking for someone who can commit to this as a long-term collaboration on a fixed monthly cost basis.
Responsibilities:
Animate 20 short videos (~5 minutes each) every month
Bring scripts and voiceovers to life with smooth, fun, and child-friendly animations
Maintain a consistent visual style and quality across episodes
Ensure timely delivery of final video files (HD format, YouTube-ready)
Incorporate feedback and revisions as needed
Requirements:
Prior experience with 2D animation (especially for kids’ content)
Strong proficiency in tools like Adobe Animate, After Effects, Toon Boom, or similar
Portfolio or samples of previous animation work (preferably children's content)
Ability to meet deadlines and handle consistent volume
Excellent communication and understanding of storytelling for young viewers
Sample Request:
Shortlisted candidates will be provided a sample script and are required to submit a 30-second to 1-minute sample video to demonstrate animation style and suitability.
Budget:
This is a fixed-cost monthly project. Please include your monthly quote for producing 20 videos (5 mins each).
