Create an Inspirational Video for a Blockchain-Powered African Trade Marketplace
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
We are seeking a skilled and creative freelancer (or team) to produce a 3–5-minute promotional video for our blockchain-powered marketplace. The platform is designed to revolutionize African trade by connecting local producers directly with global buyers. It leverages blockchain technology to ensure transparency, fair pricing, and secure transactions, empowering African farmers, miners, and businesses. We will share the script files to guide the project. The freelancer will use these scripts to create a compelling, high-quality video that balances emotional storytelling with technical clarity.
Project Scope and Requirements:
1. Video Concept and Tone:
o Create an inspirational, hopeful, and solutions-focused video that highlights the platform's impact on African trade.
o Showcase the contrast between past challenges (poverty, middlemen, corruption) and future empowerment through the platform.
o Emphasize the platform’s role in supporting the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and fostering economic empowerment for youth, women, and governments.
2. Key Features to Highlight (Based on Scripts):
o Blockchain Transparency & Smart Contracts: Show tamper-proof transactions and automated smart contracts, eliminating middlemen and fraud.
o Escrow & Multi-Payment Options: Illustrate secure payments via bank transfers, mobile money, and stablecoins.
o Product Traceability & Certification: Highlight digital Certificates of Origin and third-party verification for ethical sourcing (e.g., conflict-free minerals, organic goods).
o Real-Time Quality Monitoring with IoT: Visualize IoT sensors tracking product conditions (e.g., temperature for perishables).
o ESG & Carbon Credit Certification: Showcase dashboards displaying sustainability rewards like ESG certifications and carbon credits.
o USSD for Low-Connectivity Areas: Demonstrate how farmers in remote areas can access the platform via basic mobile phones using USSD codes.
o User Journey: Walk through a producer’s experience (e.g., registering, listing products, securing deals) with clear UI animations.
3. Visual and Audio Guidelines:
o Visuals: Include aerial shots of African landscapes (farms, mines, markets), animations of blockchain technology, glowing trade routes, and UI walkthroughs of the platform. Contrast scenes of past exploitation (e.g., farmers receiving unfair prices) with future empowerment (e.g., thriving traders).
o Characters: Feature diverse African producers (farmers, miners), tech-savvy youth, women-led cooperatives, and ethical global buyers.
o Music: Use soft, hopeful music for the opening, transitioning to uplifting and swelling music for the closing scene.
4. Technical Requirements:
o Length: 3-5 minutes.
o Format: High-definition video (1080p or higher), suitable for web and social media platforms.
o Language: English narration with clear, professional voiceover. Subtitles for any on-screen interviews (e.g., farmer testimonials).
o Animations: Create high-quality animations for blockchain transactions, smart contracts, IoT tracking, and platform UI.
o Stock Footage: Use royalty-free or licensed footage of African landscapes, markets, and trade activities if needed.
o Deliverables:
Final edited video in MP4 format.
Raw footage and project files (e.g., Adobe Premiere, After Effects).
A shorter 1–2-minute teaser version for social media.
5. Target Audience:
o African producers (farmers, miners, cooperatives).
o Global buyers seeking ethical and sustainable sourcing.
o Policymakers and investors interested in AfCFTA and blockchain solutions.
6. Freelancer Qualifications:
o Proven experience in video production, animation, and editing (please provide portfolio links).
o Familiarity with creating promotional videos for tech or social impact projects.
o Ability to source or create culturally relevant visuals and music.
o Strong storytelling skills to balance emotional and technical elements.
o Proficiency with tools like Adobe Premiere, After Effects, or similar software.
Additional Notes:
• The video should feel authentic, avoiding stereotypes, and celebrate Africa’s diversity and potential.
• Ensure all visuals and music are culturally sensitive and royalty-free or properly licensed.
• We may request minor revisions to align with our brand guidelines (to be shared upon hiring).
We look forward to your proposals!
