3D Character Animation for 5 nursery rhyme videos -- 3
Budget: $750 – $1,500 NZD
I am looking to create five 3D animated nursery rhyme videos using mostly the character (Lord Sri Krishna) and the scene (a little island) that you see in this video. The files are in Maya. The 5 videos are each roughly 2 minutes 15 seconds long.

Keen to know what you would charge for this project and learn about your relevant experience. I would be keen to get a fixed price offer for the entire project (i.e. 5 videos) but we can break them up into milestones for each of the videos. As long as the project and milestones are progressing well, we can continue the project.
The character is rigged with facial expressions and has hair rigged too. The island has basic rigging. Attached is a video showing the facial rigging. I would like the character to be professionally animated with good expressions. Freelancers applying need to provide links to previous similar work. Please share reference videos or links for me to judge.
I would like the lyrics of the rhymes to appear in good ‘child-appealing’ font in the video too. Everything needs to look professional and attractive to kids.
I have attached audio files of all those nursery rhymes I’ll need videos for with this job post. I would like to create videos for all these songs.
For each song, below is how I’m visualizing (high level) it but happy to take suggestions and feedback. As you will soon find out, this would require new objects/characters to be created. Happy for you to quote me for creating those characters separately as well and build into your total price or let me know what you can’t do. Ideally I’d like to hire someone who has a library of characters (preferably dressed in Indian) and environments that I could use for these nursery rhymes.
I’m not precious about doing it like I’ve suggested below though, happy for you to suggest what we can do based on the lyrics. Each of these rhymes are inspired from a more popular commonly known nursery rhyme which I’ve named below as well to help you with ideas. I’m keen to keep the cost of doing this down so do let me know what you would recommend without compromising the ‘entertainment’ factor for kids.
Songs:
Krishna has so many cows – (Like the rhyme Mary had a little lamb) For this song I’m expecting the character to walk (and dance along to the song) around the island (areas that look like a farm) with many coloured cows as per the lyrics. Note, Cows aren’t part of the models I have yet.
Krishna Krishna Yes Mother - (Like the nursery rhyme Johny Johny yes mother) With this song I’m imagining showing Krishna drinking milk, eating butter etc (as per the lyrics) secretly in different places and gets caught by his mother. The mother character isn’t available so perhaps we could use a shadows, hair from the back , etc. tricks to make it look like someone is there.
Little Krishna had a farm – (Like the rhyme Old McDonald had a farm) We show Krishna and his pets (cow, horse, peacock, monkey) playing and dancing throughout the island.
Prince of Vrindavan – (Like the rhyme Twinkle twinkle little star) For this one we could show the island floating in the sky and Krishna playing on the island, swinging on a swing. (Swing not already available) or paddling a boat on the lake.
Wheels on the bus - (Like the rhyme Wheels on the bus) I'm imagining a bus (to be created) in which we might show a few people (don't have that either so we'll need to work around how we create different looking male and female characters) and perhaps this main character can be driving the bus. As the bus is being driven we somehow need to show the word 'Radhe Radhe' appear to suggest the various people or things are singing 'Radhe Radhe' as in the song.
After completion of the project I would like to receive all working Maya project files and final videos for all the work done.
