CGI / VFX For Ongoing Drone Project
Budget: $5,000 – $10,000 USD
I'm looking for someone to provide CGI/VFX work for an ongoing drone project. This will involve a combination of enhancing existing footage and creating CGI/VFX for products, drones, sensors and footage already collected. We are launching an online learning academy for the drone community and need work done on some of our existing course work. I’ll list example ms of what we want below. Ideally fast turnaround (within reason I understand this is an art). This project will need a good bit up front but will also be an ongoing project as we add to the course work and develop new courses. Examples below:
#1: Drone footage of a drone flying a mapping mission. Drone is flying slow with a LiDAR sensor. The purpose of the flight is to create a 3D model of what we’re flying over. What I’m looking for is a laser simulation coming from the LiDAR sensor and scanning back and forth on the ground below.
#2: I have several drones, cameras and LiDAR sensors that I would love to have the feature where the outer shell components come off and it show the internal mechanics of the item. I have the 360 videos and could highlight the components. I’m not sure if it’s called x-ray but I can show examples to those interested.
#3: I have footage from a drone of a drone performing an inspection of a power line. I would like to create a cool scanning feature coming from the camera cast onto the power pole to show the angle of the camera. I would also like to create highlight features showing the issues found and create almost AI computer / matrix like video of it highlighting the issue and then the camera zooming in really close up to the issue. I’ve already filmed everything, I just need someone with the experience to bring it to life.
There are other projects within this, those are the first 3 that come to mind. I’m not sure how long each will take, but I imagine we have a month + of work for someone or multiple people/teams.
