Build a selective tea harvesting animation
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
Williames Tea (www.williamestea.com) has developed selective tea harvesting technology to mechanically simulate the hand plucking of tea.
The tea table consists of tea leaves at different stages of maturity, namely: (1) mature leaves including two or three leaves and a bud which are targeted to be harvested, (2) Immature leaves and buds which are not ready to be harvested and therefore should be left alone and undamaged, and (3) Maintenance foliage which is coarse and low quality and therefore should be left alone and undamaged. The selective tea harvester targets (1) and leaves (2) and (3) behind. Refer to Sequence Mechanical Plucking attached for illustration before, during and after.
The selective tea harvester mechanism consists of three rotors, namely: (1) capture rotor moving anti-clockwise selects mature leaf, (2) plucking rotor moving clockwise engages and plucks the leaf, and (3) vaned rotor moving clockwise flicks the leaf into the collection bag. See Selective tea harvesting mechanism attached for cross sectional phased diagrams.
We want to create a 2D moving animation to illustrate how the selective tea harvesting technology plucks the mature leaf and leaves the immature leaf and maintenance foliage behind as it moves along the tea table. The animation should be in colour and be less than a minute to run on a continuous loop. The animation will be incorporated into our website and will be used in powerpoint presentations to demonstrate to customers/partners how the mechanism works.
