Project Title: Motion Graphics & Editing for 10-Minute History Documentary
Project Overview:
I am looking for a talented motion graphics artist and video editor to create a 10-minute documentary-style video about The Black Death (1347-1351). The video should be engaging, historically immersive, and similar in style to Lemmino, Fern, or Imperial.
The final product should include:
✅ Motion Graphics (animated maps, data visualizations, subtle animations)
✅ Stock Footage & Images (blended seamlessly with animations)
✅ Smooth Transitions & Cinematic Editing
✅ Dark, Medieval Themed Color Grading
✅ Professional Typography & Subtle Effects
Scope of Work:
1. Motion Graphics & Animation (50%)
Animated Maps showing the spread of the plague from Asia to Europe.
Text & Data Visualizations for death tolls and statistics.
Subtle 2D Animations (e.g., a skull fading into dust, fog effects).
Historical Illustrations Animation (e.g., zooming, parallax effect).
2. Editing & Visual Storytelling (50%)
Combining motion graphics with stock footage & images.
Creating smooth, cinematic transitions.
Using appropriate sound effects and background music (I will provide audio).
Color grading to create a dark, eerie medieval tone.
Project Requirements:
✅ Experience with Motion Graphics (After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar)
✅ Ability to Blend Animations with Stock Footage & Historical Art
✅ Strong Editing Skills (Cinematic Style Preferred)
✅ Understands Medieval / Historical Aesthetic
Bonus (Preferred, Not Required):
➕ Experience with history documentaries or similar content.
➕ Knowledge of 3D tools (Blender, Cinema 4D) for simple effects.
