Animation scene for Historical Documentary -- 3
Budget: $50 – $100 NZD
I'm looking for a talented stop-motion animator to create multiple captivating segments for a historical documentary film. The animation should uniquely focus on landscapes and maps of a particular historical era.
Set in the Navajo Nation of the southwest United States, the documentary takes place in Arizona in the 1970s, and the animations will stem from childhood stories told from the interviewed characters.
There are 10 different animation segments necessary for this project, averaging 2-3 seconds per animation.
Ideal skills and experience:
- Proven experience in stop-motion animation
- Knowledge in historical geography and landscape design
- Ability to translate historical information into engaging visual content
- Strong storytelling and artistic abilities
- Unique artistic style to give the documentary a fresh perspective.
Your work will add depth and richness to the historical narrative, and needs to be accurate and engaging, making history feel alive and relevant. The right freelancer will breathe life into this project through their creativity, artistic skill, and attention to detail.
In the attached example, there is a drone shot which transitions into an AI render of the same drone footage.
The AI footage is only a placeholder as an example, and needs to be replaced by the animations done by the freelance artist. The animations need to invoke the feeling of childhood memories/nostalgia. These stories being told are from people talking about the way they grew up, and the adventures they had. This is one of the 10 jobs necessary for this project.
Please give answer of my both question and mention 1and 2. otherwise I will not reply you....
1) Are you able to provide examples of your original art work? I am not looking for corporate animation portfolios, I am seeking an artist with a unique style to bring to this documentary.
2) Are you able to illustrate and animate different subjects ie; People, landscape, vehicles?
