2D Animation for Youtube
Budget: $10 – $100 USD
I'm looking for a seasoned animator who can create a dark, mysterious, cartoonish (but not funny), at times maybe film noir like, 2D animation for my podcast backdrop.
The animation should be based on the podcast episode' cover design. Some examples attached. What we are looking for is to animate the cover in some way, make it come to life in an interesting way, that will be played in loop as the episode unfolds.
There's no script, if needed, I will provide you with an abstract on what the episode is about, and you can use it as an inspiration. The aim is to provide listeners on YouTube a visual experience to suit the vibe of the episode, but not necessary to watch throughout the episode, just make it come to life a bit, make a bit of an interesting "surprise" for those prefering to listen to the episode on YouTube.
Some general information:
1. The episodes are in Hebrew.
2. The content matter is philosophy, psychoanalysis, psychology and politics (it deals with actuality and events in Israel).
3. The length of each chapter is 30-120 mins long. (average of about 1:10 hours).
4. We only have the specific image, without layers.
Please include a portfolio with relevant work examples.
We are open to suggestions!
If you have other video-style ideas, like playing on variations of the cover, or anything else, we are open to ideas. We are looking for an interesting experience for watchers, but with a limited budget.
Notice that we currently have 27 episodes aired, and we upload an episode on a weekly basis.
If you are interested - and if this will prove itself in terms of audience response - there might be more work ahead :)
