Animated music video
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I am looking for a talented animator who specializes in 2D animation to create an animated music video for me.

- I have a specific theme or concept in mind for the music video.
We are a heavy metal band based in Melbourne, Australia and we are looking to have an animated music video created for our next single “Break The Silence”. The song is 4:10 in length and we are looking to release the track and music video at the end of February 2024.
We would like the music video to have a mixture of narrative and band performance. We have lots of performance footage from the filming of our last two music videos that could be used for reference material, plus the two released music videos.
The concept we had for the plot is to have a main character that witnesses the human right violations of war and decides to act on it. On his journey to do so he also realizes the broken world around him of corporate greed, classism, and corruption and that while society acknowledges these terrible things no one else acts upon them. On his journey to report the initial violations of war that he witnessed he notices men in suits following him. It begins with one, then another, and then more.
As he continues his journey he sees scenes of judges being paid off under supervision of men in suits, and businessman blatantly stealing from society but men in suits allowing it (representing the cycles of global financial crisis). The faces of the men in suits now begin to change into various animal skulls as they pursue him closer. He finally reaches his superior to report the initial violations but to his horror he too is corrupted! The superior is in fact the biggest man in suit and he waves his hand turning all those around him into more men in suits.
The main character then flees but is ambushed and fights the men in suits. He puts up a valiant fight but is defeated and he falls to the floor. The men in suits turn and walk away victorious and a small young girl enters. She walks to the fallen main character, drops her teddy bear and picks up the weapon to represent the next generation that will have to continue the fight and break the silence. The film clip then ends.
