Web-based Queue Management System
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
We'd like to create a web-based solution for a queue management system, preferably with modern frameworks like Angular/react and springboot/.net.
The application would have an admin panel where an employee can add services and modify the number of counters or queues a service can have. Each service would have a main screen which displays an editable background image and all queue counters together. There will also be a separate screen for each queue which displays the corresponding counter for it. Each of those screens would be represented by a url which can be opened by any device. Finally, the service would have another screen which shows the currently called queue number and for which counter
In addition to that, there will be an employee panel where the employee can choose a particular service and control the queue for that service. The employee can choose a specific customer number to call to and this would trigger an audio and display that on the calling screen. The employee can also remove people from the queue or skip certain turns, or call the current customer again
Finally, there will be a kiosk screen which generates ticket numbers that are then printed for the customer. Optionally, we may have mobile functionality where the user can choose a service and get a number from their phone or pre-book a slot for a service at a certain time
The system should also generate reports for the number of customers served and average serving time for each counter and service
