Repair Ionic Login Feature

I need a quick, clean fix for the login flow in my existing Ionic app. Right now users enter their credentials, tap “Sign In,” and nothing happens—no error, no navigation, just a stuck screen.

Scope (small but focused)
• Identify the root cause inside the current codebase (Angular/Ionic 6).
• Implement the fix so the login screen authenticates correctly and routes to the home page on both Android and iOS builds.
• Hand over the adjusted files plus a short note explaining the change so I can merge it into Git.
