Fix Save in Ionic Form

My Ionic web application is live, but the form section refuses to save new or edited data. Everything else works; only this “Save / Update” action misbehaves. I need a developer who can dive into the existing Ionic codebase (Angular + TypeScript), trace why the data isn’t persisting, and deliver a reliable fix.

Scope
• Identify the exact break point in the form workflow—whether it’s a validation block, a faulty submit handler, or a service call.
• Repair the logic so that pressing “Save” (or “Update”) commits changes, reflects them instantly in the UI, and remains consistent after page refresh.
• Keep current styling, routing, and any existing validators intact.
• Provide a concise summary of what was changed (files, functions, and why) so I can follow future maintenance.
