C1 English Full-Stack JS Developer
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I need a seasoned JavaScript / TypeScript engineer who can jump straight into production work, articulate ideas in clear American English (C1+), and stay in sync with a U.S. schedule.
Day-to-day you’ll write and review TypeScript on a Node.js back-end (mostly Nest.js and the occasional Next.js API route) while shaping front-end features in React or Angular—the two frameworks our client teams rely on most. A few legacy components still run in Vue, so being comfortable poking around that code base is helpful but not mandatory.
Our data layer mixes traditional SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) with NoSQL stores (MongoDB, DynamoDB), so you should feel at home optimizing queries, designing schemas, and switching paradigms when the use case demands it.
Everything ships through cloud pipelines. Most workloads live on AWS with some enterprise clients anchored in Azure; experience configuring services, tweaking IAM / RBAC, and automating CI/CD in either environment will make you productive from day one.
Core expectations
• 4+ years building full-stack products with JavaScript / TypeScript
• Clear, confident spoken English for client meetings and code walkthroughs
• Reliable overlap with U.S. Eastern–Pacific time zones (at least four hours daily)
• Ability to own features end-to-end: plan, code, test, deploy, and monitor
Deliverables I’ll review for acceptance
• Clean, well-documented PRs with meaningful commit history
• Unit and integration tests covering critical paths
• Updated API / architecture notes in our shared Notion workspace
• A short Loom video demoing the finished feature or fix
If that all sounds routine to you, let’s talk and get you plugged into the repo.
