Angular-Spring GPS Fleet Platform

Job ID: 40083360

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I need a full-stack developer who can take the lead on a custom web platform that shows my truck fleet on a live map. The front-end must be built in Angular and talk to a Spring Boot back-end that streams position data in real time. Every few seconds I want the map and dashboard widgets to refresh so I can instantly see where each truck is, its speed, and its breadcrumb trail for the day.

Key points you’ll tackle
• Angular SPA with a responsive dashboard and Leaflet or Google Maps integration
• Spring Boot REST/WebSocket API that ingests GPS coordinates and pushes live updates to the UI
• Secure user and role management so dispatchers, managers, and drivers see only what they should
• PostgreSQL (or similar) schema design to store historical trip data for reporting and replay

Right now, real-time tracking is the only mandatory feature. Route planning and maintenance scheduling are on my roadmap, so structuring the code for easy modular expansion will be a plus.

Deliverables
1. Source code for both Angular and Spring Boot projects in Git
2. Database scripts and sample seed data
3. README with build, run, and deployment steps (Docker-compose appreciated)
4. A short hand-off session or screencast that walks me through the architecture and how to add future modules

If you’ve already built live-tracking dashboards, especially for trucks, let me know—links or screenshots will help me choose quickly.
