Algo Trading Web Portal
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I need a lightweight yet reliable web portal that lets me build trading strategies, back-test them against historical data, and push the winning ones live through Zerodha, AliceBlue, Dhan or any broker with a compatible REST API.
Core modules I expect:
• Strategy creation – a visual or code-based builder where I can save, edit and version strategies.
• Backtesting – run simulations on historical OHLCV data, then show metrics such as P&L, drawdown, Sharpe and trade logs.
• Broker interaction – once a strategy is toggled to “live”, the system should place, modify and cancel orders in real time through the broker’s API, and stream positions and P&L back to the dashboard.
Architecture & tech stack
Back-end: Java (Spring Boot preferred) for REST services, strategy execution and broker adapters.
Front-end: Angular for a clean, single-page experience.
Database: Any relational option is fine; PostgreSQL is my default.
Authentication: simple email-and-password sign-up / sign-in, with password reset and basic role management.
Deliverables
1. Source code for both front-end and back-end, well-documented and runnable with one-click scripts or Docker.
2. A working demo deployed on my cloud account showing strategy creation, a sample backtest and a live (paper) deployment to at least one of the listed brokers.
3. Setup guide covering local development, production deployment and how to add new broker connectors.
4. Short user manual so non-technical traders on my team can operate the portal.
I value clean code, clear commit history and timely communication. If this sounds like a project you can knock out efficiently, let’s talk timelines and milestones.
