We are looking for a skilled freelancer to develop a Barcode Track and Trace system that will allow us to efficiently track and trace products from their primary stage to the pallet stage. The project involves both client and server development within an existing codebase.
Job Description:
Develop a Barcode Track and Trace system using existing code as a foundation.
Implement the necessary features to track products from their primary stage (individual items) to the pallet stage (grouped items).
Create a client-side interface that allows users to scan and input barcode data.
Develop a server-side system that processes and stores the scanned barcode information.
Integrate the system with a database to ensure seamless data retrieval and storage.
Implement validation checks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the tracked data.
Collaborate with the existing development team to ensure smooth integration with the existing codebase.
Write clear and concise technical documentation to support future maintenance and updates.
Requirements:
Strong experience in software development, specifically in barcode scanning and tracking systems.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
Familiarity with client-server architectures and database management.
Experience working with barcode scanners and related hardware.
Knowledge of data validation techniques to ensure accurate tracking and tracing.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with the existing development team.
