Senior Next.js Frontend Developer

I’m looking for a seasoned frontend engineer—someone who has spent at least seven years building production-grade interfaces with React and, more recently, Next.js. The project is a full-scale web application that already has polished Figma mock-ups and a stable set of REST endpoints. Your job is to translate those Figma layouts into clean, responsive React components, wire them up in a Next.js codebase, and connect to the existing APIs.

Strong design sensibility matters just as much as technical skill; I expect semantic HTML, accessible UI patterns, and thoughtful component architecture that scales. While the backend team owns the core services, you will handle the light Java snippets we use for custom API helpers, so basic comfort with Java is essential.

Key things you’ll be doing:
• Re-creating every Figma screen pixel-perfectly in Next.js/React
• Applying solid software design principles—modularity, reusability, and clear separation of concerns
• Integrating our REST endpoints and handling state, caching, and error flows cleanly
• Ensuring the interface performs well across modern browsers and devices

Acceptance criteria:
1. All Figma designs reproduced with no visual drift greater than 2 px.
2. Lighthouse performance score ≥ 90 on every routed page.
3. All API calls abstracted behind typed hooks; zero duplicate logic.
4. Code passes automated tests and ESLint/Prettier checks on first merge.
