SaaS Operation Specialist for Event Tech Company

App is a real-time SaaS platform for premium events. We handle digital check-in, guest scoring, and live TV leaderboards for events . The platform runs on Railway Pro with a Node.js/TypeScript backend, React 18 frontend, PostgreSQL database, and SSE for real-time updates.

We have 10+ live events scheduled in 2026. Each event runs 2–3 hours with 1500–3,000 concurrent users hitting the platform hard in the first 20 minutes. Zero tolerance for downtime during events.

The codebase is clean, fully migrated from to Railway, and has a 238-test Playwright suite including a pre-event go/no-go smoke test. The infrastructure foundation is solid — we need someone to harden it and own it operationally.

What I need:

Pre-launch hardening — resolve DB latency issue, validate Railway config for burst traffic or recommend different hosting solution.
Live event on-call — available and actively monitoring during each event window with a defined response SLA
Post-event reviews and iterative hardening between events
Runbook documentation so operations scale as we grow
