React/React Native Developer for Web and Mobile Applications

Job description
I am looking for an experienced React/React Native Developer to assist with enhancing and updating my healthcare web and mobile application. This project focuses on improving features such as patient management, appointment scheduling, and telemedicine functionalities. As the only client, you will work directly with me to make updates, fix bugs, and optimize performance for both the React-based web platform and the React Native mobile app.
Responsibilities:
Improve the React-based web application:
Update the UI to enhance the patient experience, adhering to provided designs.
Integrate appointment scheduling and medical data with the backend API.
Optimize the web app's responsiveness and performance across devices.
Enhance the React Native mobile app:
Add new screens and features for patient data viewing and telemedicine scheduling.
Improve real-time data syncing and push notifications for mobile users.
Ensure the app functions seamlessly on both iOS and Android platforms.
Work closely with me to ensure the application meets healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA compliance).
Perform testing on both web and mobile applications to verify functionality and identify issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve UI/UX issues on both platforms, with a focus on usability and performance.
Optimize the mobile app and web app to ensure high performance and a smooth user experience.
Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience working with React.js and React Native.
Experience with healthcare-related applications is preferred.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and modern web technologies.
Experience with integrating RESTful APIs and ensuring compliance with healthcare security protocols (e.g., HIPAA).
Familiarity with state management tools like Redux or Context API.
Ability to work independently, manage your own time, and communicate effectively with me directly.
Experience in performance optimization for both web and mobile applications.
Preferred:
Familiarity with healthcare standards such as HL7, FHIR, or CDA.
Experience with telemedicine features or patient management systems.
Knowledge of mobile app testing frameworks (e.g., Detox, Jest).
Experience with Git for version control.
