Description:
I'm looking for an experienced full-stack web developer to build a membership-based web application that integrates with Patreon for user access and OpenAI’s GPT API for AI-powered instructional design support.
Users will pay for their membership via Patreon, and the app should:
Authenticate users via Patreon OAuth
Verify their active membership tier
Grant or restrict access to app features based on that tier
The app delivers access to a GPT-powered instructional design agent that supports course creation using Merrill’s First Principles, ibstpi competencies, and Quality Matters rubrics. Ideal users are educators, instructional designers, and corporate learning leaders.
? Scope of Work:
Develop responsive frontend UI (React/Next.js preferred)
Integrate Patreon OAuth2 login
Call Patreon API to verify active membership & tier
Gate access to GPT tool based on tier
Build chat interface connected to OpenAI API
Basic user dashboard (plan info, logout, session history optional)
Deploy to Vercel, Netlify, or similar platform
Provide clear documentation for handoff

Node.js / Express or Python / FastAPI (backend)

OpenAI GPT API (chat completion)
Session/auth management (JWT or secure cookies)
