Merchant Crypto Wallet MVP - 21/04/2026 15:35 EDT
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I’m kicking off an eight-week sprint to release a beta-ready crypto wallet tailored for merchants. The wallet will launch on Polygon first and later expand to other chains, so the codebase must be modular from day one.
Tech foundation
• Front end in React (web) and a companion Flutter app
• Node.js back end
• Fireblocks or BitGo for secure custody and signing
• MoonPay for fiat on-ramp
• Alchemy for chain data and broadcasting
Core scope
The MVP must let a merchant create an account, receive funds, and move crypto with full auditability. To keep things sharply defined, the first release will cover:
Features required at launch
1. Transaction history (per wallet, per user, exportable as CSV)
2. Multi-currency balances on Polygon (USDC, MATIC, wETH to start)
3. Role-based user management so a store owner can add staff with limited permissions
Timeline & milestones
Week 1-2 Design final flows and data models around the merchant use case
Week 3-6 Implement wallet creation, deposits, transfers, and Alchemy hooks
Week 7 Integrate KYC flow through MoonPay; complete custody wiring with Fireblocks/BitGo
Week 8 Push closed beta to the web and mobile stores, gather feedback
Month 3 brings merchant payment plugins, so clean API endpoints and webhook design now will save us time later.
Acceptance criteria
• All on-chain actions are signed via Fireblocks/BitGo policies, never on the client.
• Polygon transactions appear in the UI within five seconds using Alchemy websockets.
• Front end passes Lighthouse PWA audits ≥ 90.
• Automated tests cover at least 80 % of back-end logic.
If you’re comfortable owning this stack end-to-end and can hit the above milestones, let’s get started right away.
