MERN Platform With JWT & 2FA
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I need a complete green-field web application built on the MERN stack. The back-end will expose RESTful APIs over Express.js and Node.js, persist data in MongoDB, and handle secure authentication with JSON Web Tokens plus a mandatory two-factor step. The database’s primary focus is user information and profile data, so schema design, indexing, and query optimisation are critical for fast look-ups and seamless pagination.
On the front-end, a clean React interface should deliver a modern, mobile-first experience that renders consistently across major browsers. Component structure, state management, and styling must follow best practices so future contributors can extend the codebase without friction.
Once development is complete, the application must be container-ready and deployed to a cloud host of your choice (AWS, Heroku, Vercel, or similar) with environment variables properly managed. A concise README and in-app technical docs should cover setup, API contract, and deployment steps.
Deliverables
• Fully functional MERN codebase in a public or private Git repository
• JWT-based auth flow with 2FA integrated
• REST API endpoints for user registration, login, profile CRUD, and role-protected routes
• Responsive React UI with cross-browser support
• Optimised MongoDB schema, indexes, and sample data set
• Deployment scripts or pipeline file (Dockerfile, docker-compose, or CI/CD config)
• Setup & usage documentation
Acceptance criteria
The app must pass eslint/prettier checks, all API endpoints return expected status codes, 2FA must trigger on every new device login, and Lighthouse mobile performance should score 90+.
Clean, scalable code and clear Git history will conclude the project.
