MERN App Bug Fixing

My production MERN application needs a thorough round of bug-squashing. I am seeing performance slow-downs on key screens, functional errors that break expected user flows, and a few security weak points that were flagged in a recent audit. These problems touch both the React frontend (UI/UX) and the Node/Express + MongoDB backend, so the work will require full-stack experience rather than a siloed approach.

You will start by reviewing the current codebase in Git, reproducing the issues I outline, and then implementing clean, test-covered fixes. I expect modern debugging practices—Chrome DevTools, React Profiler, Postman, MongoDB Compass—along with clear Git commits so I can trace every change.

Deliverables
• Issue report confirming root causes for each performance, functional, and security problem
• Patched code pushed to a feature branch with passing unit/integration tests
• Brief hand-off note summarising fixes, configuration changes, and any follow-up recommendations

Acceptance criteria
– No critical console or server errors on load
– Page interactions remain responsive (<200 ms) under typical traffic
– OWASP-listed vulnerabilities previously flagged are closed and re-tested
