Issue with opening external browser in iOS app built with Ionic and Angular

We are seeking a skilled freelancer to troubleshoot an issue with an Ionic and Angular app that we have developed. Specifically, when the app tries to open a browser using the window.open() method, it works on Android devices but not on iOS devices. We have attempted to add the http and https URL schemes to the .plist file in an effort to resolve the issue, but it has not been successful.
